I guess it is because I don't have many followers. Any suggestions on how to get more followers? Post tutorials? Giveaways?<br />
<br />
Well, I can start by getting back into the Challenges again. I will start with the CardzTV Designer Challenge #3 Anything Goes! <br />
<br />
For my entry I made a "Spider Slider" card as follows:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vPy0Y4vZOuc/WBN4GsmkzvI/AAAAAAAABLM/6IMlbC2NNk0Br652-IYu73VY4FSAvNregCLcB/s1600/IMG_2431.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vPy0Y4vZOuc/WBN4GsmkzvI/AAAAAAAABLM/6IMlbC2NNk0Br652-IYu73VY4FSAvNregCLcB/s320/IMG_2431.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I inked a spider web embossing folder and then ran it through my Cuttlebug. I punched a word window in that piece as far down as the punch would allow. I placed a penny behind the piece and attached a foam glue dot to it. After removing the backing sheet, I place another penny on top of the first penny over the word window, then attaching a spider cut from Cricut and adding google eyes. I bent the legs up slightly so they would not catch on the window when spinning. It came out much better than I thought and my Granddaughter will love it!</div>

I thought I might as well post this second project as long as I am on here, right!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was also for the family I made the card for.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My first one also and it was easy and fun. It took longer to decorate the jar then to put in the ingredients.</div>

So now there is a challenge over at Cardz TV which sparked my imagination and I had a couple of projects to do so I can check off three things on my list.<br />
<br />
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; line-height: 22.3906px; text-align: center;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; line-height: 22.3906px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: purple;">Create a card for Thanksgiving.</span><i style="color: purple; line-height: 22.3833px;"><span style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: georgia, 'times new roman', serif;"> </span></span></i></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; line-height: 22.3906px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;"><i style="color: purple; line-height: 22.3833px;"><span style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: georgia, 'times new roman', serif;"><br /></span></span></i></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; line-height: 22.3906px; text-align: center;">
Here is my card for this challenge:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; line-height: 22.3906px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is a gate fold with a circle die cut on top of a scallop die cut. I inked the edge of my die to emboss the green color around the outside of the circle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But the magic happens inside...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6LsQJxhCnx8/VlMydHGrzoI/AAAAAAAABJY/B7Jiq_ZRW5M/s1600/IMG_2001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6LsQJxhCnx8/VlMydHGrzoI/AAAAAAAABJY/B7Jiq_ZRW5M/s320/IMG_2001.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wait for it...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZhK3f735Cn8/VlMydEw0rcI/AAAAAAAABJc/WYTURABsc3M/s1600/IMG_2003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZhK3f735Cn8/VlMydEw0rcI/AAAAAAAABJc/WYTURABsc3M/s320/IMG_2003.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And there it is! The turkey pops out from under the red triangle! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had so much fun and it really was a a challenge to figure this one out. I didn't use a template or measurements. I just wung it and I think it came out great!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a Great Thanksgiving!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Thank you to all who serve in every way!</div>

<br />
It is almost Labor Day and In have been busy preparing for my first ever class at the Southern Tier Scrap Gathering. The ladies have made a few changes this year, dropping a few group classes and adding more hands on technique based classes. I am hoping the participants enjoy the new setup but we will find out soon.<br />
<br />
I never knew how involved teaching a class could be. I only have a few hours a day to work on this so it seems like the going is slow. I keep coming up with new ideas to add to my setup so maybe this is the reason. LOL<br />
<br />
So anyway, in the meantime, I had some cards to do so here they are...<br />
<br />

<br />
I recently attended a scrapbooking show in Syracuse NY and ran into one of the ladies who puts on the Southern Tier Scrap Gathering in Elmira, NY. She asked if I would be interested in teaching at the next gathering. Well, of course, I said I would be interested and we have since had a meeting at which I presented an idea for a class to her and she approved it! So in September, I will be teaching a class to 30 scrappers for my first time ever. I am both scared and excited. I have so much to do to prepare. I have to send in BIO and a description of the class for the registrations. Then I have to make instruction sheets for each person taking the class and put together 30 kits for those students. <br />
Whew! Makes me tired just typing it. <br />
<br />
My BIO and description is done. Now to work on the instruction sheets and I want to have a practice run with my hubby who knows nothing about scrapping so that I can see if my teaching is sufficient. If I can teach him to make this project, I should be ok.<br />
<br />
I will keep you posted of my progress.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />

It's been so long since my last post you probably have forgotten about me! I have been so lazy about any paper crafting lately that I almost forget how to do it. I have been remodeling my craft room since December which is not a good time to do it in New York but when the snow goes away, I go out to play. I finally got my table in the room and have more space to actually craft without having to take my Cricut and Cuttlebug off the table every time I do a project. I also got some stamp organization tools to have my stamps more accessible. It is amazing how much stuff I have that was hiding in boxes and drawers. Now I will have them out but organized which for me is a huge deal!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, now I am busy making bouquets for my son's wedding on June 20th. My husband and I were surprised with this news just before we went on our tenth anniversary trip to St. Thomas. So I was gone for two weeks, and then started planning in April for a wedding in June! Yikes! But it has come together nicely and his fiance' found a beautiful dress that only had to be hemmed. It fit her perfectly and she is lovely. I think my son will be surprised and delighted. I think he may be more excited than she is if that is possible. I will post pics of the whole thing after the excitement is over. Oh did I mention that I am also making the cake. Whew! When it is all done, I will need another vacation.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So for now I will leave you with some pictures of our Anniversary cruise to St. Thomas! Enjoy!</div>

Hello and welcome to my world.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am entering thisThanksgiving card into the following challenge:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2014/11/challenge-me-monday-238-give-thanks.html</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XmI5DyGJD7U/VHNbEuLx6MI/AAAAAAAABEw/UxzYwSVSCww/s1600/IMG_1506.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XmI5DyGJD7U/VHNbEuLx6MI/AAAAAAAABEw/UxzYwSVSCww/s1600/IMG_1506.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the Thanksgiving Cricut Cartridge and a Spellbinders Scallop Oval Die with my Cuttlebug.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started with a kraft base and rounded the corners. I cut the ovals with the die out of a mustard yellow and used the tan mat to emboss the ridge on the inside of the scallops. Then I measured just inside the embossed ridge to get the size for the cameos. It was about 2 inches and I cut these in black. I attached the cameos to the ovals with tape runner and added the pumpkin button with a glue dot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W5K0lxkLkjU/VHNbE_ke6ZI/AAAAAAAABFA/Y3z4LOocZHE/s1600/IMG_1507.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W5K0lxkLkjU/VHNbE_ke6ZI/AAAAAAAABFA/Y3z4LOocZHE/s1600/IMG_1507.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the inside, I cut the Leaf Border at 1 inch which cut the width not the length. I used the swirl cutouts from the cameos in the upper corners and stamped the greeting "GIVE THANKS". </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(I had forgotten to take photos before I had co-workers sign it so you can see some of their signatures).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This looks like it was a really simple card, but the measurements of the cuts always get take me the longest to figure out. Someday I will get the hang of it. Enter more challenges maybe?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Wow! Two challenges in one month. What got into me? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Maybe a little holiday spirit. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Every year where I work, we select a family in need from a list provided to us by local charity organizations. I make the card and this year I really had fun creating this card. Our family has a small child and I thought an Action Wobble was just the ticket! And while I am at it, I thought I would post it and enter it in the latest Wobble Wednesday Challenge!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
http://challenges.action-wobbles.com</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XES2mTBdK8g/VGQwJHsBycI/AAAAAAAABD8/0JvNDgiE28U/s1600/IMG_1496.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XES2mTBdK8g/VGQwJHsBycI/AAAAAAAABD8/0JvNDgiE28U/s400/IMG_1496.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started with a cream base and edged it with some ink in a light brown. The turkey is from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge as well as the word "Gobble". He is on an action wobble and backed by a Spellbinders Scallop Oval in cream topped with a green regular oval run through with the embossing mat to leave a rim on the edge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A black mat frames a piece of grid pattern paper and fall leaves completes the front.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2L1PEjHaO2U/VGQx6PKgtJI/AAAAAAAABEI/ihciKrAQec8/s1600/IMG_1495.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2L1PEjHaO2U/VGQx6PKgtJI/AAAAAAAABEI/ihciKrAQec8/s400/IMG_1495.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The inside features a pumpkin with sentiment and matching fall leaves. A little inking around the edges gives the paper some dimension. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And here is the fun part...</div>

Mary at CardzTV has really been coming up with some interesting challenges to keep us on our best card making behavior. And she really inspires me to do my best when I look at all the beautiful cards she and her Design Team make. Everyone should go over and take a look at her Card Gallery. You can't help but smile and think "How does she come up with these fabulous ideas!"</div>

<br />
Here in the valley, the leaves are pretty much going the other way now, but up in the Adirondacks the colors are beautiful! Some friends invited us to go to Pennsylvania this past weekend on our motorcycles to see the colors there. It was very cold but the beauty of the landscape was well worth it. Unfortunately it was so cold that I could not take my gloves off to snap any pictures. I did get one photograph of a Waterfall in Watkins Glen, New York.<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R2mtQMUiWCI/VDvgoW7eX3I/AAAAAAAABCU/aWkXyyGP0zM/s1600/IMG_1458.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R2mtQMUiWCI/VDvgoW7eX3I/AAAAAAAABCU/aWkXyyGP0zM/s1600/IMG_1458.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started my card by folding an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of royal blue cardstock in half for the base. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using the <u><span style="color: blue;">Create A Critter Cartridge</span></u>, I cut 4 owls at 1 1/2 inches from a metallic brown. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also cut the tree branch and leaves from that cartridge at 3 inches.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then using the <span style="color: blue;"><u>Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge,</u></span> I cut the Witch's hat from a striped paper and the Vampire cape from purple. I added pen work to the cape to give it some dimension. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am not sure what size I cut these at but I did have to cut the cape a couple of times to get it just right. I hand cut a small mouth and teeth for the Vampire. The Witch's broom is a toothpick and some brown paper cut randomly to make bristles and rolled on the toothpick.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next is the mummy. I was looking for some material that would be like bandages and I found a small piece of gauze in my medicine cabinet. I pulled it a little to loosen it up and just wrapped it around the owl. So cute! The ghost was simply a tracing of the top of the owl on white paper and then a swirl for the bottom (tail). Three sizes of Googly eyes gave them their personality. The metallic black bat also came from the <u><span style="color: blue;">Paper Doll Dress up</span></u> and the metallic yellow stars are two sizes of small hand punches. Unfortunately, you can't really see the metallic sheen in these photos. It really makes a cool affect.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gt8G80RBmZo/VDvhIZIuTxI/AAAAAAAABCk/DzGQf4XkXTc/s1600/IMG_1459.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gt8G80RBmZo/VDvhIZIuTxI/AAAAAAAABCk/DzGQf4XkXTc/s1600/IMG_1459.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the inside, I cut a rectangle from the Witch's hat paper and a smaller one from cream. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using a Martha Stewart drippy goo punch made a neat border and the little spider on the Happy Halloween stamp made me giggle. I gave him some white gel pen eyes and added some webs and string work, I then outlined the sentiment to make it pop and it's done!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I took this to work to show the girls and one bought it to send to her sister!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for viewing!</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This project came just at the right time! I had to make a graduation card and the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week is "Take me out to the ballgame" I know that is usually associated with baseball but we can put our own spin on it right?!?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So below are the pieces of my card which is for a young man who plays football for his high school team. The school colors are royal blue and white. The brown paper is textured so I thought it would be perfect for a football and I also used it as my base to tie it all in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started by folding the brown paper into thirds like a business letter than I cut a grad cap out of royal using the Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge and the football and "touchdown" from the Sports Mania Cartridge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ni4SJhzeAyY/U9Zmgol4aOI/AAAAAAAABA0/570vNth7CnA/s1600/248.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ni4SJhzeAyY/U9Zmgol4aOI/AAAAAAAABA0/570vNth7CnA/s1600/248.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut a piece from the checkered paper for the front and edged the bottom of the brown base card with a notched edge using decorative scissors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6iGCLH585S4/U9Zmgzmd-2I/AAAAAAAABBA/BeexuKpYOdo/s1600/249.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6iGCLH585S4/U9Zmgzmd-2I/AAAAAAAABBA/BeexuKpYOdo/s1600/249.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut an oval from George and Basic shapes and placed the "touchdown" sentiment on the inside fold.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZJKe2kqGhPU/U9ZmrBVYrpI/AAAAAAAABBI/u1tlNOM3_Hg/s1600/251.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZJKe2kqGhPU/U9ZmrBVYrpI/AAAAAAAABBI/u1tlNOM3_Hg/s1600/251.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I attached a rectangle of white on the inside fold for the sentiment and any writing I might want to add. This was stamped in royal blue ink using a stamp from a Christmas set from Paper Wishes. (I later thought I should have put some of the blue checkered paper as a mat around the white...oh well, next time!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c0BuhBnDCAM/U9Zmsm95oSI/AAAAAAAABBQ/TChNjijwC2s/s1600/252.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c0BuhBnDCAM/U9Zmsm95oSI/AAAAAAAABBQ/TChNjijwC2s/s1600/252.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I folded the white strip around the base card and creased it at the top and bottom and glued it together to make a slide closure. I attached the grad cap and football to this strip making sure the glue was only on the white strip so the closure could slide off smoothly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CwZt5Y5OrDU/U9ZmgdbWlmI/AAAAAAAABA4/Xzy9t7cEQTI/s1600/250.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CwZt5Y5OrDU/U9ZmgdbWlmI/AAAAAAAABA4/Xzy9t7cEQTI/s1600/250.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And this is my finished card! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gtSx5-d77ko/U9Zr-PaXUuI/AAAAAAAABBc/bJArlRpZIj0/s1600/253.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gtSx5-d77ko/U9Zr-PaXUuI/AAAAAAAABBc/bJArlRpZIj0/s1600/253.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi there paper crafters! Remember the Rolo pencils I made for the CardzTV challenge? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, I entered them in the Decorate to Celebrate Challenge also and was awarded with </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
TOP HONORS!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really had fun making them and the kindergartners I made them for sure enjoyed them. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was kind of sad to see them rip their way to the candy but the Moms and Dads liked them and thanked me for my thoughtfulness. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This challenge stuff is kinda fun. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
WOW, two challenges in a row...that is super good for me!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I am posting a card on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog for card stash. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I never have any cards for "Get Well Soon" so that is what I did.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eIAd_cyuYJI/U48yPMKFppI/AAAAAAAAA-0/nNRrJrTCPGA/s1600/photo+(11).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eIAd_cyuYJI/U48yPMKFppI/AAAAAAAAA-0/nNRrJrTCPGA/s1600/photo+(11).JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Light Pink cardstock embossed with Hearts folder.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-9pEPrxLFU/U48ybxhp-VI/AAAAAAAAA-8/sDKWpFYE2E0/s1600/photo+(10).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-9pEPrxLFU/U48ybxhp-VI/AAAAAAAAA-8/sDKWpFYE2E0/s1600/photo+(10).JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">White cardstock base and fuchsia mat. <br />
Added computer generated sentiments.<br />
This font is" Vanessa".</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-olr9S09ci2Q/U48ylPykFuI/AAAAAAAAA_E/sVvvcdBd2rU/s1600/photo+(9).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-olr9S09ci2Q/U48ylPykFuI/AAAAAAAAA_E/sVvvcdBd2rU/s1600/photo+(9).JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Attached fuchsia mat to card base using glue runner.<br />
Attached embossed pink to fuchsia with glue dots.<br />
It seems to work better than the glue runner as it does not<br />
flatten the embossing.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-27bLjmD0wTI/U48zj3FNqWI/AAAAAAAAA_M/b1eru3HQOEs/s1600/photo+(8).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-27bLjmD0wTI/U48zj3FNqWI/AAAAAAAAA_M/b1eru3HQOEs/s1600/photo+(8).JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Added little fuchsia hearts from the George and Basic Shapes Cartridge<br />
to coordinate with the front.</td></tr>

Hi everyone!<br />
<br />
Today I am posting my project for the CardzTV Challenge. I made these cute pencils for my granddaughters Kindergarten class. They are graduating on June 5th.<br />
<br />
Although this is not my original idea, it is my interpretation of it.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RJZcPOiWBnY/U4ydSBVsSuI/AAAAAAAAA98/Fv6EqvaiMB0/s1600/photo+(5).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RJZcPOiWBnY/U4ydSBVsSuI/AAAAAAAAA98/Fv6EqvaiMB0/s1600/photo+(5).JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">These are all the components needed to make the pencils. Yellow paper, pink paper, silver foil paper or ribbon, roll of Rolos, Hershey Kiss, glue dots and I used Redline tape to adhere the paper around the Rolo. You can also use decorative scissors (I used a wave) and stamps.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
First I used two large glue dots to attach the Kiss to the bottom of the Rolo. Then I cut the yellow to go around the Rolo with a little covering the Kiss. I cut the wavy pattern on the bottom of the yellow using the decorative scissors. I embossed lines every three marks on my scoreboard running lengthwise down the yellow. Using tiny stamps, I stamped several graduation messages and icons on the pencil paper. Then I cut pink strips and circles for the eraser. I was going to use Mentos for these but that candy doesn't have a wrapper. <br />
<br />
Next, using the Redline tape, I attached the silver strip (I used silver paper ribbon from a Christmas roll) around the pink eraser making sure to place it half on the pink and half on the yellow. <br />

Hello. I am entering the next 3 cards into the My Craft Spot Challenge #136. (http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/2014/05/challenge-136-mothers-day-or-spring.html)</div>

The next one is for my Mother-in-law. She loves flowers and the pretty yellow color reminds me of her bright, sunny disposition!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A COUPLE OF TIPS!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k5rtfkUCZmE/U3A5LSi4mKI/AAAAAAAAA8c/X9bLVUz3qbY/s1600/md+12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k5rtfkUCZmE/U3A5LSi4mKI/AAAAAAAAA8c/X9bLVUz3qbY/s1600/md+12.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">TIP #1<br />
I gently run an emery board over the top of new stamps to help them hold the ink better.<br />
Ink on a new stamp tends to bead up and not make a crisp image. <br />
I have found that the emery board takes that smooth finish off and helps make a crisper image.<br />
I also stamp on a thin piece of foam like the sheets found in the craft store in the children's craft section.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6d3vuhCsNlM/U3A5MGiNHlI/AAAAAAAAA9g/q9DyWGnmRZY/s1600/md+14.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6d3vuhCsNlM/U3A5MGiNHlI/AAAAAAAAA9g/q9DyWGnmRZY/s1600/md+14.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">TIP #2<br />
I don't have alot of sentiment stamps so I use the internet to get words for my cards.<br />
To add them to the card, I draft print them on scrap copy paper then, using the light from the window,<br />
I center my cardstock piece over the printed sentiment and tape it lightly to the copy paper.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-afM-mYzKn8M/U3A5L0QqAQI/AAAAAAAAA9c/WKrTvPJP8vA/s1600/md+13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-afM-mYzKn8M/U3A5L0QqAQI/AAAAAAAAA9c/WKrTvPJP8vA/s1600/md+13.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Then I run the copy paper through my printer again with it on normal print (and color if wanted).<br />
The sentiment prints nicely on the cardstock and I don't have to purchase alot of sentiment stamps.<br />
This is my favorite tip for card making. I have an endless amount of sentiments and quotes available to me.<br />
I also save my favorites in a folder on my computer so I don't have to search for them when I want one.<br />
(You can case this idea if you want. LOL)<br />
<br />
Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day!<br />

My last entry was for my Granddaughter:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UfYc7gCNF8o/U10u1F4vaMI/AAAAAAAAA48/lnIJP6JNaKU/s1600/bunnybutfront.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UfYc7gCNF8o/U10u1F4vaMI/AAAAAAAAA48/lnIJP6JNaKU/s1600/bunnybutfront.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have seen several of this type of card on the many blogs I follow and thought I would try it but change it up a bit. It is a bunny peeking through a tree. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VL17htnn6eQ/U10vfBRCIbI/AAAAAAAAA5I/KV3u5BzMc7o/s1600/bunnybutpieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VL17htnn6eQ/U10vfBRCIbI/AAAAAAAAA5I/KV3u5BzMc7o/s1600/bunnybutpieces.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(This picture is sideways. I couldn't get it to turn around! LOL)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The base is kraft and I ran it through a wood grain embossing folder. I did all the cuts from the George and Basics Cricut Cartridge ( even the one on the kraft base) The bunny head is cut from 1 1/2 inch and 1 inch circles. The ears, centers, feet and foot pads are also 1 inch and 3/4 inch ovals. His nose is a heart at 1/2 inch. The pink paper was placed on the inside of the kraft for the background for the bunny. His cute eyes and smile are Peachy Keen Face Stamps with white gel pen enhancements. I cut a long strip and snipped banner ends. I then stamped my sentiment and folded the banner to overlap each end and glued it under the bunny hole.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
NOW FOR THE CHANGE-UP!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JMoMHsGYQIE/U10u1AzjfyI/AAAAAAAAA44/DlLz7pNAORE/s1600/bunnybut.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JMoMHsGYQIE/U10u1AzjfyI/AAAAAAAAA44/DlLz7pNAORE/s1600/bunnybut.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On the inside is his bunny butt! I glued the head together and attached it to the front of the card, folding one ear down. Then I glued the butt to the head and placed the feet to dangle on the inside. A swirl texture circle makes the fluffy tail pop without adding a lot of bulk. The inside is stamped with "DID SOMEONE SAY CHOCOLATE BUNNIES?" Adding three flowers from the same cartridge brought a little color and spring to the card. I love how it turned out and my Granddaughter lovers her "babbit"!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, I finally posted and it was a challenge just getting that done. To make three cards was something entirely different. I am always thinking I will make cards up ahead to save some time, but I never do I tend to make each card personalized for the recipient. I also tend to do my best work under pressure Oh well!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed my post and challenge entries.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is also paper pieced using patterns from a fun foam pattern CD I purchased from Paper Wishes.. I downloaded the patterns into my computer and printed each one on cardstock. Then I cut them out to save for multiple use. Itraced each pattern on the blank side of printed paper and then hand cut each piece. I sponged around the edges to sharpen the images. The eyes, nostrils, stitches and squiggles are hand drawn with a thin line black pen. I cut the tabs off of three daisy brads and stuck them on the card using glue dots.</div>

For the inside, I used a frame from a Cricut Cartridge making it 4 inches on real dial size. The sentiment is stamped and the squiggles black thin line pen. Another daisy pulls the front and back together.</div>

Next card is for my sister:</div>

Again, I paper pieced (hand cut, not from a machine). This one is square and I like how the bunny is tilted and his ear goes off the pink background. I started with white card and added a bright pink layer to offset the pink on the bunny head. The nose and ear centers are pink paper. His eyes,whiskers, mouth, and eyebrows are drawn on with a thin black pen. Hippity Hoppity is stamped with black ink and stitches drawn on with pen. A white gel pen dotted on the eyes brings him to life!</div>

For the inside, I cut a scallop oval and a smaller regular oval using Spellbinders dies and the colors from the front. "The Bunny is back in town" is stamped with black ink. I also embossed two lines down each side of the inside (and top/bottom) to give the card a little texture. I did this on a scoreboard.</div>
