CARDS

This is a card I made for a 90th birthday.  I had never met Helen, but I was asked to send a card for her special day and from what I hear, she got alot of cards.  I am glad I made this for her.  I am sad to say that she passed away soon after her birthday, but I hope we all brightened her life for a moment.

I started with a gold base and added a damask print on top of that.  I punched a scalloped oval with a spellbinders and added the sentiments from my computer.  A pink voile bow sets it off just right, along with chalk to shade the sentiments.  Glittered rose and butterfly stickers compliment the colors beautifully.

(I'm not sure why it came out sideways, but I will get this blogging thing down yet!)
