This beautiful waterfall is at Chittenango Falls.  Some friends and I rode down on our bikes last year and spent a wonderful day talking, walking, and dipping our feet in the water.  We are looking forward to more great rides this year!

My son's girlfriend is making candles now and this is a gel scented candle she made at Christmas time.  She used stickers and gems and each one was different and unique.  The one she gave me had a wooden top and snowflakes.  She has a shop interested in selling them for her.  You go girl!

I am taking a class at Jo-Ann Fabrics and I usually get there early so I do a little shopping.  This is the haul I got from the clearance racks.  Select EK Success punches are going for less than $3.00.  This haul saved me over $100.00!  I love you, Jo-Ann!

This is a card I made for a 90th birthday.  I had never met Helen, but I was asked to send a card for her special day and from what I hear, she got alot of cards.  I am glad I made this for her.  I am sad to say that she passed away soon after her birthday, but I hope we all brightened her life for a moment.

I started with a gold base and added a damask print on top of that.  I punched a scalloped oval with a spellbinders and added the sentiments from my computer.  A pink voile bow sets it off just right, along with chalk to shade the sentiments.  Glittered rose and butterfly stickers compliment the colors beautifully.
(I'm not sure why it came out sideways, but I will get this blogging thing down yet!)

This is a birthday card I made for my sister in February.  Base card is cream with rounded corners, next layer is yellow solid and next is yellow print.  Cream square has small cutouts done with Spellbinders dies.  On top is a stamped butterfly and the Happy Birthday sentiment on a Spellbinders label layered on a gold label fixed with gold eyelets.

Inside is a layer of yellow with a sentiment pulled off the internet with a partial stamping of the  butterfly and a curly-q from the same stamp set.
I hope she had a fabulous birthday!

St. Patrick's Day has come and gone and the first day of spring has arrived.  This is a card my daughter made for a friend.  It has 3 shamrocks welded in the Cricut Design Studio and lots of Stickles.  The sentiment is on popdots and colored in with the Sakura Stardust Pen.  It was made awhile ago so I don't have the font name or the cartridge we got the shamrocks from but there will be more information on future posts.
