CARDS!

I finally got a chance to create something and post it too! I am entering this in the Dream Valley, Paper Pretties, and Whoopsi Daisy challenges.

Well, it is not exactly a card, but I used all the same materials from my stash to make this shadow box.  I am going to donate it to the raffle for the Benefit I mentioned in my last post.  Here are the details:

Michaels
12 x 12 Shadow Box Frame
Pearl paper

Hobby Lobby
Bees (from the dollhouse department)

 DCWV
12 x 12 textured card stock - caramel, cream

Cricut Cartridges
George and Basic Shapes
Geographically Speaking
Elegant Edges
Storybook

personal stash
pink, green, white paper
White Glitter snowballs
Yellow ink
Brown Calligraphy Pen
foam squares

I used my printer and Scriptina Pro font downloaded from FONT SPACE for the inspirational saying on the  base layer of caramel.  I wrote over this with a Calligraphy pen in brown because it wasn't dark enough.  The sentiment reads "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain"

Cream textured card stock on next layer with a 7" oval cut from George Cartridge using center point feature.

White oval cut at 8" from Elegant Edges Cartridge and inside trimmed to fit 7" oval.

Daisies cut using Graphically Speaking Cartridge from pearl paper at 3, 2.5, 2, and 1.5 and layered together with petals staggered and curled.  Little daisies are 1,5 and 1" layered together.  I colored the white glitter snowballs for the daisy centers yellow using an ink pad.

Leaves are cut from Storybook at 2, 1.5, and 1"
Pink flower cut at 1" with mint green centers at 3/4" both using Graphically Speaking.
Little caramel filler flower was a 1" circle fringed and rolled.

I added little bees on 2 foam squares to the bottom and top of the floral groups.

On the layer closest to the glass, I attached caramel scrolls to fill in the space.

Hope you like it!
