My Mother-in-law is receiving this card for her birthday! Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge was used for all cuts except for the butterflies. They were the outties from a butterfly border punch. The fence was cut from barn wood print at 2 inches. The pink flowers at 1inch and the purple at 1 1/2 inch. The grass was cut at 1 inch. The inside reflects the front and stamp ink matches the fuchsia flowers on the front. Green glitter pen outlines the green card and white gel pen work makes a frame. Happy Birthday, Mom!

CARDS
Today is my BFF's birthday (HAPPY B-DAY BRENDA) and this is the card I made for her. The card itself is made from one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 double sided paper. I love how this came out and how the fold overs coordinated with the outside. This happened to be the ONLY sheet of double sided paper I had in my stash. Gotta get more of it!
The Celebrate tag was done on my Cricut (of course) and the orange one was stamped and embossed. The yellow tag was printed on my computer and reads "A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be." Then each tag is tucked into one of the folds created when making the flaps. A little pen work and a button is just enough to compliment the bold print of the paper.
Have a great birthday, My BFF!

RUBBER ON THE ROAD!
Weather is finally getting nice enough to take the bike out! Can't wait to get together with my riding friends and cover some pavement! This is my husband's motorcycle, a Yamaha Royalstar Venture. That's not my husband in the picture (that"s the guy we bought it from.) I have a Honda Shadow 750 (the beautiful bike below) I will have to post a better picture of it because you can't see the details on the tank and Hubby just recently changed the mirrors so I will post a new picture soon.
I ask everyone out there to be mindful when driving, not only for motorcycles, but for children and walkers, bicyclists and animals.

CRAFTS
Calendar Books! Covered with papers and embellishments to personalize for each person. I made 14 of these for friends and family. Too bad I didn't get pictures of them all. Only problem was, these were one time use only because I glued everything right to the cover. I didn't locate any with clear cover protectors until this year and then I didn't get any made. Better planning next year!

CARDS
This is a card I made for my Manager's birthday. I am also entering it in the CardzTV challenge #105 which is to use a frame cut from any Cricut cartridge. The frame is from Elegant Edges cut at 3". I cut strips of white and weaved them for the lattice work. I had already started this card when I got the email for the challenge so I didn't have the other cartridges I used written down. (I will be doing that from now on just in case!) The base card is 5 X 4 with a top fold. The purple plaid paper is from Paper Wishes. I cut the purple flowers at 1" and inked with purple. I also striped the petals with purple glitter pen and curled them with a dry embossing tool and mat. The centers are a sun (possibly from Walk in My Garden) cut at 1/4" and chalked yellow on the tips. The very center dot is peach Stickles. The small white flowers are star punches with a Shakura Glaze Pen dot in the middle and curled. The leaves are from Storybook (I think). On the inside I used another frame to cover where I glued the weaving. A small butterfly left over from another project and a star flower accents the corner nicely. I stamped Happy Birthday and a floral cluster with purple ink and colored the center with the Glaze pen. I really like this one and already have some more ideas for this technique!
